Suki has relationships: dissatisfactory relationships, inter-cultural relationships, relationships that end. She nostalges for past loves; is, in mid-life, wistful for the unborn, for the family she does not have, for what might have been. Suki comes at gender with a post-feminist eye. She is gay. She is straight. She lives alone and blogs into the night about art, life, death, her search for a raison d’etre and her quest for love. See sukithelifemodel.co.uk. And you can watch the movie shorts on Suki’s Amazon author-page for free.
Her first poetry collection Kunst (Indigo Dreams Publishing) – a raw take on the model’s subjugation to the artist – coincided with publication of the print version of A small life (Cinnamon Press), volume I of Suki’s autobiographical trilogy. Two small lives (volume II) published by Naked Eye is also now in print, and True life nude (Volume III) is due out in late 2017 also published by Naked Eye. Read all three parts online: sukithelifemodel.co.uk.
Thin bones like wishbones (Indigo Dreams Publishing) is Suki’s joint poetry collection with her manager-minder Sue Vickerman and shows Suki visiting dark places but, until now, returning to the light.
Two small lives is published by Naked Eye and True life nude will be published by Naked Eye late in 2017.
